A man scheduled to face trial on allegations he assaulted a teen girl was found dead at a Pasco County nudist resort in an apparent suicide.

The body of Darin Ty Horn, 38, was discovered Monday in a car at Paradise Lakes. The medical examiner's office has ruled his death suicide by carbon monoxide inhalation.

Horn faced up to 91 years in prison if convicted on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, lewd and lascivious behavior, and sexual battery. He was to go on trial in Hillsborough County Monday.

Authorities arrested Horn in May on charges that he gave several teen girls alcohol at his home in Tampa and sexually assaulted one of them after she went to sleep. Horn had no prior criminal record in Florida.

Horn was a volunteer for the girls' softball team at Robinson High School, on which his daughter played.

Robinson coach Ed Gallio said Horn, who worked for a contractor, volunteered long hours doing odd jobs on the field and helped to build a press box and concession stand for the softball players.

Gallio said no softball players were victims of the alleged sex crime
